Fast forward to 2022, we’re finally ready to bring Authentic Middle Eastern Kunafa to Ajax Ontario and it truly is a dream come true!

Kunafa, also known as Kanafeh, kunafeh or knafeh, is a Middle Eastern cheese and dough pastry drizzled in a sweet, sugar-based syrup and topped with pistachios. Kunafa can be prepared in various ways but the most popular worldwide is called knafeh nabulsi, which is where our recipe is from. It took us several years of training back home in Palestine before we even attempted to bring this dish to Canada. In 2018 we decided to give it our all and open our first Kunafa’s location in Scarborough. Fast forward 4 years and we’re now ready to bring our traditional kunafa to Ajax Ontario.
